A 26-year-old couple was indicted for “violence resulting in death without intention to give it” by the Brest prosecutor’s office. The father and mother are suspected of violence against their one-and-a-half-month-old child, who died on April 10 in conditions that remain to be clarified. The facts took place in a town near Brest (Finistère), on April 9. The medical services had raised suspicions of violence committed against this child born a month and a half earlier. On April 10, the baby died of his injuries. The parents had been taken into custody. Unknown to justice, they were indicted and placed under judicial supervision.
