Two people died in a single-engine plane crash in the Aegean Sea

A single-engine Cessna 172 aircraft crashed near the Greek island of Samos in the Aegean Sea. There were two people on board, they died.

According to the Greek newspaper Kathimerini, the plane, which supposedly took off from Israel, disappeared from radar shortly before landing at the airfield of the island of Samos. The plane could not land and fell into the water, writes TASS.

According to sources in the Greek Civil Aviation Authority, a search and rescue operation was launched after the crash. Specialists managed to find the bodies of the victims.
