Two people, including actress Urvasi’s brother’s wife, have committed suicide.

Suchindran (age 54) hails from William Layout 2nd Street, Villupuram. He is not married. His younger sister Pramila (52). Her husband Kamal is the brother of actress Urvasi.
Kamal left Pramila 2 years ago due to a disagreement. Thusindran and Pramila lived in a rented house. They languished in poverty due to lack of adequate income.
In this condition the stench blew from Suchindran’s house yesterday morning. Suspected neighbors informed the Villupuram city police. Sub-Police Superintendent Parthiban, Inspector Ravichandran and police rushed to the spot. But the door of the house was locked from the inside. So the police broke the door lock and went inside.
Suchindranath and Pramila were hanged in separate rooms there. Both bodies were in a state of decay. Police suspect the two may have committed suicide by hanging themselves over the past 5 days.
Police subsequently raided the home. At that time, the police came across a heartbreaking letter written by Suchindran and Pramila at home before they committed suicide.
In that bite, we commit suicide because of poverty and ill health. No one was responsible for our suicide. Unable to pay rent for the house.
So sell the house and give the money to the homeowner. We were told to take our bodies to the crematorium and bury them instead of taking them to the hospital for autopsy.
Following this, the police seized the bodies of the two and sent them to the Mundiyambakkam Government Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Police have registered a case and are investigating the complaint.
Actress Urvasi’s sister and actress Kalpana has been helping Pramila financially. But after his death, Pramila and Suchindran are said to have committed suicide as they did not get any financial help from anyone else. The incident in which a brother and sister committed suicide due to poverty has caused tragedy in the area.
