Kuwait City: Two people were arrested with 10 kg of ganja in Kuwait. As part of the fight against narcotic drugs, the Ministry of Interior has strengthened the inspections on the instructions of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Khalid Al Ahmad Al Sabah. Officials have released images of the seized goods through social media.
An expatriate youth was arrested in Kuwait the other day with a huge collection of liquor. He was arrested by the Ahmadi Security Directorate under the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior. According to a notification released by the Ministry of Home Affairs through social media, he had 154 bottles of liquor in his possession. Official announcements only say that the person arrested is Asian. It is not clear which country he belongs to. The authorities have also informed that the youth has been handed over to the concerned departments for further action.
At the same time, inspections are continuing in Kuwait to catch law-breaking expatriates. During the inspection conducted by the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigation, 59 residence violators were arrested from the Salmi scrap yard. One person was also captured from Jalib Al Shuyukh area. He was arrested for entering Kuwait illegally. Those arrested have been handed over to the concerned departments for further legal action. Action will also be taken against their sponsors. Widespread inspections are underway in various parts of Kuwait to arrest those who work in violation of labor laws and those who do not comply with residency laws. People who are staying in Kuwait in violation of residency laws and working in violation of the country’s labor laws are being caught.
