Kuwait City: Two people were arrested with drugs including hashish in Kuwait. The General Administration for Narcotics Control arrested two persons who were in possession of about 2.5 kilograms of hashish, one kilogram of chemical, one quarter kilogram of shabu and larica pills.
The Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al Khalid and the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Anwar Al Barjas had given instructions to intensify the security campaigns. Both have admitted during interrogation that they were in possession of drugs with the intention of smuggling them. Accordingly, they were referred to the Drugs and Liquor Prosecution for taking necessary legal action against them. The administration is emphasizing the continuation of security campaigns by the criminal security sector and field sectors against drug traffickers and sellers.

The previous day, a raid was conducted on a factory where narcotics were manufactured in Kuwait. The authorities conducted the inspection in the factory where meth is manufactured. Home Ministry Under Secretary, Lieut. Under the leadership of General Anwar Al Barjaz, the officials of the Ministry of Interior conducted the inspection. During the search, four kilograms of meth, 1 kilogram of hashish and tools to make them were seized. Two drug dealers were also arrested in the incident. They have been handed over to the concerned departments for taking further legal action.

Three people were arrested with drugs in Kuwait the other day. They were arrested by the officials of the General Administration of Drug Control who tried to smuggle large quantities of narcotics into the country.
