Two people were killed when the truck plowed into the pedestrians

Quebec: Two people have been killed and nine others injured after a pickup truck crashed into them in northern Quebec, Canada. The incident happened on Monday night in the town of Amqui, Quebec. Local media reported that the dead were in their 70s and 60s.

Police arrested the 38-year-old driver in the incident. Police did not say whether the accident was planned. Officials said that an investigation into the incident is underway. Last month, a bus crashed into a Montreal daycare center, killing two children.
