Kuwait City: Authorities arrested two people who smuggled drugs into Kuwait. Officers of the General Administration of Narcotics Control Division arrested two persons with 25 kilograms of hashish. They smuggled drugs into the country with the aim of selling them.
The Anti-Drug Trafficking Unit had earlier sought permission from the Public Prosecution. After this, the residence of the accused was searched. Drugs and cash were seized from here. The accused have confessed to the crime. They have been handed over to the concerned departments for further legal action.
