At least two police officers have been injured by a suicide attack against the headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior in Ankara (Turkey), which has left two attackers dead, as confirmed by the minister himself, Ali Yerlikaya.
“At around 9:30 a.m., two terrorists who were in a light commercial vehicle in front of the entrance door of the General Directorate of Security of our Ministry of the Interior carried out a bomb attack,” the minister said.
“One of the terrorists blew himself up and the other terrorist was neutralized,” he added in his message, published on his Twitter account. The two injured police officers are not in danger of death. “I wish our heroes a speedy recovery,” she added.
The minister has not given further details of the incident.
