Two Romanians are arrested with 8 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride at the AICM

Elements of the Secretariat of the Mexican Navy present in the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) arrested two Romanian women who arrived on a flight from Paris, France, and were carrying a shipment of 8 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and multiple doses of narcotics.

The Semar reports that more women were arrested in the customs area and that they were hiding the seized substance in two suitcases. In one of them they were transporting 6.94 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloridewhile in another they carried 2,910 MDA pillsalso called ecstasy.

The women along with the seized cargo were placed at the disposal of the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), where the legal status of both will be determined.

“Customs and Navy personnel identified two women of Romanian nationality who arrived from Paris, France with checked baggage carrying 8,205 kg of ketamine hydrochloride; 6.94 kg of ketamine hydrochloride and 2,910 kg of MDA pills. With respect for their human rights, they were placed at the disposal of the corresponding authorities,” AICM shared in a statement on social media.
