Two serious accidents at the start of MotoGP in Barcelona

The test had to be interrupted to help the pilots. Bagnaia was taken to the medical center for further tests and later taken to hospital. According to the direction of the test, he was conscious at the time of the rescue.

The accident happened on the first lap of the race Moto 1000 GP on Sunday the 28th. Images circulating in various media show the clash between the pilots in the middle of the track. Competitors collide after one of them falls and tries to get up.

The tragedy involving Érico Veríssimo da Rocha, 38 years old, and André Veríssimo Cardoso, 42, took place at the Autódromo Internacional de Cascavel, in western Paraná. Last weekend, the city received the Grand Prix (GP) of the modality.

In a note, the organization of the event regretted the death of the pilots and canceled the track activities of the fourth stage of the Brazilian Motorcycle Championship. “The Moto GP family directs all our prayers to the riders, their family, friends and admirers”, says the person in charge of the competition.
