The winning numbers for Friday’s Mega Millions drawing were 10-24-48-51-66 and the Mega Ball was 15. While there were no big winners for the jackpot, four tickets sold in California, North Carolina, and South Carolina matched the first five numbers to take home a $1 million prize each. Additionally, the lucky South Carolina ticket earned an additional $2 million for playing a 2x Megaplier.
However, for those who missed out on the Mega Millions drawing, there is another opportunity to win big. On Saturday, the Powerball prize is estimated to be a whopping $875 million, according to the Powerball website. This marks the third-largest prize in Powerball history, with no grand prize winner since April 19. The jackpot has “rolled over” 36 times since then, contributing to its massive size.
Both the Mega Millions and Powerball lotteries had drawings this week that failed to produce grand-prize winners. Both lotteries are available in 45 states, providing ample opportunities for players to test their luck.
