Two more girls have fallen victim to dangerous games on the popular TikTok app that has shocked everyone. TikTok, China’s popular app, hosts a series of sometimes dangerous game challenges.
Tik Tok has proven time and time again that games can be perverse. The app’s challenges have raised concerns that life could be at risk.
The parents of two girls who participated in TikTok’s “Blackout Challenge” in the US died, and their parents are suing TikTok.
The suit has been filed in federal court in Los Angeles, accusing the TikTok software of “deliberate and repeated” blackout challenges.

Matthew Bergman, an attorney with the Social Media Victims Law Center who filed the lawsuit on behalf of the parents, explains. “TikTog should be held responsible for the death of these two young women for providing such deadly content,” the parents of the deceased girls demanded.
“Pythons company TikTok has invested billions of dollars to design products that promote dangerous content. This investment is leading to the death of TikTok users,” the lawyer told AFP news agency.
Eight and nine-year-old girls who attempted the blackout challenge used a rope and dog leash for the challenge.
Parents who have lost their children have accused TikTok, which promotes the blackout challenge, of using perverse methods to do so. Italy and Australia have cited examples of similar deaths for the challenge.

Parents have asked the judge to order Tik Tok to stop promoting dangerous challenges that attract children.
The case also cited examples of harmful challenges like “Skull Breaker Challenge”, “Coronavirus Challenge” and “Fire Challenge” to bolster their claims.
Tik Tok, owned by China-based Bit Dance, has a theme that is sometimes dangerous. Even though challenge sports are dangerous, there are still cases of people who are attracted to them, without thinking and taking the challenge and risking their lives.
Parents who have given up their children have said that Tik Tok’s constant promotion of such life-saving challenges is adding to their worries.
