At 07:11, a report was received at MDA’s 101 hotline in the Lachish area about 2 wounded from a fire in a deep-sea vessel that were rescued to a marina in Ashkelon. Burns in the upper body and another wounded in a light condition.
MDA paramedic Aviya Malka said: “The two wounded who were seriously and lightly injured suffered burns to their upper body. They were rescued to us from the depths of the sea with the help of a naval police boat while fully conscious. We provided them with primary medical care in the field, which included fluids and painkillers, and evacuated them for further treatment at the hospital. “
The Barzilai Medical Center said: “The seriously injured man is suffering from burns to his face at a severe level, is currently being resuscitated in the emergency room. The other wounded man is in a light condition with minor burns on his hands.”
