At least two people were killed and 12 wounded in Russian guided bomb attacks in the Kharkiv region of northeastern Ukraine, Reuters reported, citing local authorities.

The strike was aimed at a civil enterprise in the Kupyansk region, regional governor Oleg Sinegubov wrote in his publication in “Telegram”.

The local prosecutor’s office reported that a fire broke out in a warehouse and six workers were injured.

Another six people, including a 12-year-old child, were injured in the village of Zolochiv after Russian forces dropped two bombs, local police reported to Telegram. The publication adds that administrative buildings, a kindergarten and more than 20 private homes were damaged in the attack, BTA reported.

Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, and its environs have long been under Russian attack, and Moscow’s troops have been attacking Ukrainian border regions with highly destructive guided bombs for months, Reuters said.

Moscow denies attacking civilians or civilian infrastructure, but thousands of people have been killed or injured in its airstrikes, the agency added.
