Tragic Electrocution Incident in Ramallah: IDF Performs CPR

Ramallah – In a devastating incident, two young men were electrocuted in their home in the village of Beitilo, west of Ramallah. Despite the immediate efforts of the IDF and the Rescue Union, the victims could not be saved.

The incident took place on September 24th, at around 16:40 local time, when the two young men were fatally injured due to electrocution. They were quickly rushed to the Post Junction in West Binyamin, where the IDF and the Salvation Union were present to provide emergency medical assistance.

Tragically, despite the valiant efforts of the medical teams, both young men were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Rescue Union, along with the IDF, performed CPR on the victims in an attempt to revive them. However, their injuries proved to be fatal, and there was no chance of saving their lives.

Yariv Rice, a medic from the Rescue Union who took part in the resuscitation efforts, expressed his sorrow over the incident. He explained, “According to their family members, they were electrocuted at their home in the village of Beitilo, and they were then brought to receive medical assistance at the Horseshoe Junction and the Post Office Junction. We, along with the medical teams from the IDF and the Red Crescent, performed CPR on two young men who, unfortunately, were pronounced dead. In addition, we provided initial aid to two other young people who sustained minor injuries.”

The exact details of the electrocution incident remain unknown. It is unclear what caused the electrocution or if any safety precautions were neglected. Investigations are expected to be carried out to determine the cause of the tragic incident.

The village of Beitilo and its residents are now mourning the loss of two young lives. The local community is in shock and has come together to support the grieving families during this difficult time.
