Two young residents of Ma’ale Adumim were killed tonight (between Friday and Saturday) after their vehicle lost control and collided with three vehicles standing on the side of the road, on Highway 1 between Ma’ale Adumim and Mishor Adumim in the south of the country. One of them is a soldier, who was apparently on vacation. They collided with an MPJ jeep and a police vehicle that was inspecting a Palestinian vehicle.

Six more injured in the incident were lightly evacuated to the Hadassah hospitals in Mount Scopus, Ein Kerem and Shaare Zedek. The traffic examiners started investigating the circumstances of the accident.

Another serious accident happened yesterday in the south of Israel, after a bus driver lost consciousness while driving, and collided with a pillar on Route 40 near Tel Sheva. MDA paramedics gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva where he is in critical condition.

Three and two other passengers were evacuated to the hospital, including a 21-year-old young man in moderate-severe condition with an abdominal injury and another injured in a minor condition. The other bus passengers did not need treatment.
