Caution for strong rain, strong winds, lightning, and gusts in Okinawa
Looking at the forecast for the subsequent path of Typhoon No. 9, it is likely to move north from the vicinity of Okinawa into the East China Sea and Yellow Sea, making landfall on the continent and losing strength. Significant development is not expected, and it is anticipated to maintain its strength without a typhoon force wind area.
There is no significant impact expected on Kyushu and Honshu; however, if the typhoon moves north away from land, there may be high waves along the coast of the East China Sea, so caution is needed for sea recreation due to rip currents.
