Due to bad weather, the Philippine Mactan-Cebu International Airport is temporarily closed.

The typhoon reached the coast of the Philippines on Thursday 16 December. Local authorities have already estimated the damage to roads and bridges due to bad weather at 178.4 million Philippine pesos ($ 3.56 million). About 100-150 Russian citizens live in the areas where the typhoon passes, Yaroslav Pavlov, head of the consular department of the Russian embassy in Manila, told RIA Novosti.
