Comedian Park Myung-soo did not edit out the content of his phone conversation with YouTuber Tzuyang, who recently revealed that she had been assaulted, exploited, and threatened by her ex-boyfriend, in a new video uploaded to his YouTube channel ‘Hal Myung-soo’.
In a video uploaded to ‘Hal Myeong-su’ on the 12th, Park Myeong-su was shown visiting a restaurant known as ‘a restaurant recommended by Tzuyang’. After finishing his cold noodles, Park Myeong-su commented, “This is a place that Tzuyang recommended, and it’s so delicious.”
I spoke to Tzuyang on the phone right after. Park Myung-soo congratulated Tzuyang on recently surpassing 10 million subscribers on her YouTube channel. Tzuyang responded brightly, saying, “Thank you so much.”
Park Myeong-su then said, “I came to the cold noodle restaurant (that Tzuyang recommended) and it’s really delicious. Can’t I see you now that it’s over 10 million?” Tzuyang promised, “No. I’ll go out with the diamond button.”
The video appears to have been filmed before Tzuyang’s controversy became known. Some netizens have also interpreted it as Park Myung-soo sending a message of support to Tzuyang.
Tzuyang confessed that she had suffered all sorts of damages from her ex-boyfriend and agency CEO, Mr. A, for four years the day before. She also said that she had not received a settlement of over 4 billion won. Tzuyang sued Mr. A, but the case was closed as there was no right to prosecute him as he passed away.
However, it was reported that some YouTubers called ‘Cyber Wreckers’ used this as an excuse to threaten Tzuyang. Eventually, the prosecution decided to step in and investigate the case.
