U.S. Embassy in El Salvador commemorates victims of 2001 bombing

Through the official account of the social network X (formerly Twitter), the Embassy of the United States in El Salvador remembered the victims of the attacks on the Twin Towers that occurred in 2001.

In its post, the American embassy said: “Today is a day to remember and honor the victims of the September 11 attack. It is also a day to thank firefighters, police officers and other public employees who fought bravely to help those affected.”

And the message or statement ended with the phrase: “May their lives inspire us to always be united.”

This Wednesday, September 11, the United States marks the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on the Twin Towers, an event that shocked the entire world.

Popularly known as 9/11 (for the day and month of the year), according to the official version, four planes (two from United Airlines and two from American Airlines) were hijacked by a total of 19 members of Al Qaeda.
