U.S. Deputy Ambassador at UN Security Council meeting: “North Korea receives Russian equipment, technology, experience, etc.”
The Security Council wrestles over the launch of ‘North Korea IRBM’… Hwang Jun-guk “North Korean military, Kim Jong-un’s slave”
A warning has been issued that North Korean troops dispatched to the Ukraine War are gaining considerable combat experience and, based on this, their ability to wage war against other countries has also increased.
According to Reuters on the 8th (local time), U.S. Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations Dorothy Camille Shea attended a UN Security Council meeting held at the UN Headquarters in New York to discuss North Korea’s launch of an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) that took place on the 6th. It was stated like this.
“North Korea is benefiting significantly from Russian military equipment, technology and experience,” he said, adding, “This has further strengthened its ability to wage war against its neighbors.”
“As a result, North Korea is likely to use these improvements to promote arms sales and military training contracts globally,” he predicted.
Deputy Ambassador Shea emphasized that day by referring to North Korea by its official name, the English abbreviation for Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).
Meanwhile, at the meeting on this day, an argument broke out between North Korea, Russia, and South Korea over North Korea’s IRBM launch.
Kim Song, North Korea’s ambassador to the United Nations, claimed that North Korea’s missile launch was part of a plan to strengthen its defense capabilities and accused the United States of applying double standards.
Ambassador Kim said, “When the number of civilian deaths in the Gaza Strip exceeded 45,000, the United States disguised Israel’s vicious mass murder as self-defense,” and added, “Meanwhile, it is raising questions about North Korea’s legitimate exercise of its right to self-defense.”
Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenza also pointed out that South Korea, the United States, and Japan are provoking North Korea through military exercises. He then drew a line at the US claim that ‘Russia appears to have intentions to share satellite and space technology with North Korea.’
He said, “These remarks are an example of groundless speculation aimed at damaging bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation and our ally North Korea.” Ambassador Nebenja then left a message congratulating North Korean Workers’ Party General Secretary Kim Jong-un, who celebrated his birthday on this day.
Hwang Jun-guk, South Korea’s ambassador to the United Nations, referred to the North Korean military as “fundamentally Kim Jong-un’s slaves.” He continued, “We were brainwashed to sacrifice our lives on distant battlefields to raise money for his regime and secure advanced military technology from Russia.”
