Dubai: The government has announced public holidays for the next year in the government and private sectors. January 1, New Year’s Day, is a public holiday. April 20 to 23 is Eid al-Fitr holiday. It is suggested that Prophet’s Day will be on September 29. Days may change due to menstruation.

The longest holiday is associated with the Day of Arafah. May get holiday from Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th June. Since Saturday and Sunday are coming along with this, you will get a total of 6 days off. Hijri New Year falls on Friday 21st July. As the following days Saturday and Sunday are holidays, you will get a total of 3 days off. Nabi Day is likely to be on Friday, September 29. In that case, you may get 3 days off including Saturday and Sunday.

The private sector has also announced a three-day holiday to mark the UAE National Day and Remembrance Day. Holiday from Thursday 1st December to Saturday 3rd December. Some private institutions in the UAE have made the weekend holiday Sunday.
