UAE announces safety guidelines for returning Hajj pilgrims

Abu Dhabi: The UAE has announced health and safety guidelines for pilgrims returning after completing Hajj. The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has issued instructions in this regard the other day.

Those who come to the country after completing Hajj must follow the safety conditions against Covid. Wear a mask and avoid leaving home for seven days after your return. It is not mandatory to undergo a covid PCR test at the country’s airports while returning. But if infection is suspected, PCR test should be done. All those with symptoms are required to undergo a covid-19 PCR test on the fourth day after symptoms appear.

If you have symptoms of fever, you should visit any health center in the country. If the infection is confirmed, they should be quarantined at home. In addition to this, the UAE National Disaster Management Authority says that each emirate can issue separate instructions on its own.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has also suggested to use the green pass system in the Al Husn application. Earlier, a system was also prepared for issuing Hajj permit from UAE through Al Husn application. The Hajj permit was to be obtained through the application, which included documents including vaccinations.
