It is estimated that 65 families will benefit from this amount. Many houses and shops were flooded due to heavy rains and floods in various parts of the UAE. Seven people died due to the flood. Authorities rescued 870 people trapped in Sharjah and Fujairah. 150 people were rescued after the water entered their houses. They have been shifted to hotels and other accommodation facilities in a safe manner.

Meanwhile, in Fujairah, a survey has been started in collaboration with various government centers to assess the damage caused by rain and mountain floods.

The survey will take account of the damage done by locals and foreigners. The authorities have stated that they will complete the assessment of all the damage to the house, household appliances, electrical and electronic equipment.

Many people later had to see the sight of all the valuables being washed away in the water. All of them became unusable. Those who lost their passports and educational documents in the rainwater are worried.
