UAE has announced a major change in residency visa law. Those who have stayed outside the country for more than six months can now apply for a re-entry permit. But the reason for staying outside the country for such a long time should be explained with proof. Apply for re-entry permit through the official website of the federal authority. It charges 150 dirhams. Typing centers informed that they have been informed about the new changes. Absence from the country for more than 180 days will result in automatic cancellation of the residency visa as per UAE law. Only golden visa holders are exempted from this provision.
