The United Arab Emirates and Ireland have qualified for the T20 World Cup in Australia.

The BCCI hosts the 2021 T20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates. Another T20 World Cup will take place in the next 335 days. The 2022 T20 World Cup will be held in Australia from October 16 to November 13. A total of 45 matches will be played in Adelaide, Brisbane, Keylong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. The semifinals will be played on November 9 and 10 in Sydney, Adelaide. The final takes place at the Melbourne Stadium.

Eight countries – Australia, India, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, England, Pakistan and South Africa – have qualified directly for the Super 12 round. West Indies, Sri Lanka, Scotland and Namibia play in the first round. The remaining 4 countries will compete through the qualifying round. The 4 teams selected in the first round will join the other teams in the Super 12 round.

The United Arab Emirates and Ireland have qualified for the 2022 T20 World Cup.

The United Arab Emirates beat Nepal by 68 runs in the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup qualifiers in Oman. Similarly, in the other semi-final, Ireland defeated Oman by 56 runs. Following this, the United Arab Emirates and Ireland have qualified for the T20 World Cup.

The United Arab Emirates team has qualified for the T20 World Cup after 2014. Ireland have qualified for the T20 World Cup for the 7th time in a row.
