The incident related to the case was in June. After the woman informed that she had 24 kg of gold to sell, the gang threatened the trader with the money to buy it and stole the money. The woman informed the merchant that she would arrive at Al Nahda in Dubai with the gold and should arrive here with the money to buy it. According to this, four people approached the merchant who arrived at the scene with a bag containing money.

The gang threatened him with a knife and asked him to pay, but he refused. But there was no other way to escape from the attackers. After piercing the bag containing the money with a knife, the gang made off with the money. They immediately got into the vehicle and escaped from the spot. Four members of the gang were arrested after the man went to the police station and lodged a complaint saying that he had been robbed of 1.2 lakh dirhams by a fraud gang.

But the mastermind behind the gang has not been caught. The four arrested persons told the police that the man who planned the plan had given them six thousand dirhams each and told them to extort the money. But efforts to locate him have not been successful. The Dubai Criminal Court has sentenced them to one year in prison based on the confession of the four-member group. Along with this, the court also ordered that they should return the 1.2 lakh dirhams they stole from the trader. The court also ordered them to be deported from the UAE on completion of their sentence.
