UAE Fuel prices See January Cuts Despite 2025 Increase projections

Despite expectations of rising costs throughout 2025, UAE motorists are beginning the year with relief at the pump, as petrol and diesel prices have experienced significant reductions. the cuts, effective January 1, represent the largest price drops seen in over a year, offering a temporary reprieve from fluctuating fuel costs.
January 2026 Price Adjustments
Fuel retailers across the United Arab Emirates have adjusted prices for January 2026,with E-Plus 91 now priced at AED2.34 per litre and diesel at AED2.55 per litre. These figures represent a notable decrease compared to the December 2025 rates of AED2.51 and AED2.85 respectively.
Other fuel grades have also seen reductions. Special 95 is now available at AED2.42 a litre,down from AED2.58 in December,while Super 98 has fallen from AED2.70 to AED2.53 a litre.
