Karachi: Pakistan is surrounded by many kinds of crises. Troubled by this, Pakistanis go abroad and expose their country. But now such Pakistanis have been warned. This warning has been given not by Pakistan but by the United Arab Emirates. UAE Consul General in Karachi Bakhit Atiq Al-Remeithi has asked Pakistanis living in UAE to avoid negative propaganda against their country, its institutions or politicians. He said that such people have faced difficulties in the past. They can also be sentenced to jail. The UAE Consul General said that negative propaganda against Pakistan has been seen on social media by Pakistanis living in or visiting UAE, for which many people have been arrested and sentenced to 14 to 15 years in prison. More than five Pakistanis have been sentenced to life imprisonment, while most of them have been sent back. He warned that such Pakistanis will not get visas to Gulf countries including UAE and they will not be able to go there.

You can reach jail through social media

He said, ‘They should avoid sharing or forwarding any such matter on social media. If anyone does this, strict action will be taken against him according to the law.’ Actually, in Pakistan, some people are in favor of Imran Khan and some people are in favor of Nawaz Sharif. Some people are in favor of the army and some people are against the army. When these people go to UAE, they openly share their views. UAE does not want Pakistan’s political differences to reach its country.

‘Don’t bring political differences to Dubai’

Bakhet Atiq Al-Remeithi said that citizens of about 200 countries of different religions and nationalities live peacefully in the UAE. About 18 lakh Pakistanis live here. He appealed to Pakistanis not to bring their political differences to Dubai. When he was asked whether there is any restriction on Pakistani visas, he said, ‘Not only are Pakistanis being given visas, but the consulate is also providing all possible help.’
