It also recommends staying away from people showing symptoms of Marburg infection, such as fever, muscle aches, and itchy skin, and avoiding contact with other people’s bodily fluids. The warning states to stay away from fruit-eating bats and their habitats as much as possible. It is also advised to avoid contact with chimpanzees and guerrillas. It is also pointed out that the death rate from Marburg virus is 60 to 80 percent.
