jpnn.comJAKARTA – Bung Karno University (UBK) together with lecturers from a number of other campuses began their collaborative research in the Seribu Islands, North Jakarta.

The collaborative research focused on the Concept of Using Digital Technology of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) as a Public Service Function to Report Alleged Election Violations is a Domestic Cooperation Research (PKDN) program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.

The initial research team consisted of chairman Didik Suhariyanto from the UBK Chancellor, Prof. Suparji Ahmad from Al’ Azhar, Azmi Syahputra from Trisakti University, Gunawan Djajaputra from Untar, and others visited the Bawaslu office.

Didik Suhariyanto stated that this research is a strategic step to ensure that the election process in Indonesia is increasingly transparent and accountable.

“We believe that digital technology has an important role in strengthening the election monitoring system. Through this research, we hope to make a real contribution in realizing a cleaner and more honest election,” said Didik.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Thousand Islands Bawaslu, Rahadi Pramono, welcomed this collaboration.

Didik hopes that the research results can be immediately implemented in the supervision of the upcoming election.

“With this collaboration, we want to ensure that election supervision can be carried out more sophisticatedly and accurately so that it can prevent various forms of fraud and violations,” said Rahardi Pramono.
