After committing the murder, the accused ran away and hid in the jungles. After this, when the police reached the jungle in search of the accused, seeing himself surrounded by the police, the accused seriously injured himself by slitting his throat in front of the police. During this, the policemen kept shouting and trying to convince him, but he did not listen to anyone and kept cutting his throat with a sword. In this attack, his throat was badly bloodied. After this, when he became unconscious, the police immediately admitted the accused to the hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

The friend of the deceased teacher turned out to be the murderer

This sensational case is from Meghwal Basti of Adwas village of Salumbhar district, where on Thursday late evening, teacher Shankar Meghwal was murdered by cutting his neck with a sword while he was sitting at home. In this case, teacher Shankar’s friend Fateh Singh turned out to be his murderer. In this attack, the teacher’s father was also seriously injured. The accused also attacked his hand with a sword, and he is currently undergoing treatment at MB Hospital in Udaipur. After the murder, there was a stir in the police administration. Later, during the investigation of the case, the name of his friend Fateh Singh came up in the murder case. On this, the police started searching for him.

The accused slit his own throat in front of the police

After killing teacher Shankar, the accused Fateh Singh hid in the forest. On this, the police reached the forest searching for him on Friday. During this, seeing himself surrounded by the police, he started cutting his neck with the same sword. On this, the police personnel shouted and tried to convince him. The police personnel assured him that nothing will happen to him, you come here, you will not be punished, do not cut the throat. The police also said that we will help you, but the accused Fateh Singh did not listen to the police and kept cutting the throat with the sword. During this, he fell unconscious after being severely bleeding.

Witchcraft was cited as the reason behind the murder

During this time, when the police was stopping the accused Fateh Singh from slitting his throat, the accused was repeatedly telling the police that the flower ruined me. Later, while coming to the police, he gave this statement that ‘He (Shankar) gave me flowers during the lockdown and since then I have suffered a loss, I have not benefited from it. It is being told that due to this dispute, there was no contact between the deceased teacher Shankar and the accused Fateh Singh for a year.
