Time was given to meet Prime Minister Modi at 4 pm. Last time when he came to Chennai, he had asked me to see him, so I asked for the time. Given time, I met him. Didn’t talk about politics. Chief Minister inquired about Stalin’s health. I condoled the demise of the Prime Minister’s mother. He heard about sports related matters in Tamil Nadu.

We informed that we are conducting 15 different sports competitions for the Chief Minister’s Cup at a cost of Rs.25 crore. I requested Tamil Nadu to be given the opportunity to host the next ‘Gelo India’ Games and the Sports Commission of India should be located in Chennai.

Subsequently, I spoke to the Prime Minister regarding the NEET issue. He gave some explanations. At that time, this was the mentality of the people of Tamil Nadu. I said that it is my duty to say that and that legal action will be taken on behalf of DMK. He also spoke to me from his heart.

Regarding AIIMS, 2026 is the month of December. So, I did not speak to the Prime Minister regarding that. Nothing was said about the electoral alliance.

He inquired about the sports related structures. I informed about setting up a mini stadium for the constituency in Tamil Nadu. Then he said, who will take care of it? Will the government maintain it? He questioned that. He then shared with me the problems he faced during his tenure as Chief Minister. We hope that the Prime Minister will fulfill our demands.
