Students from the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) demand from the authorities on social networks and in their second work stoppage that “Aldo González”, a missing student, is missing; Therefore, they launched a call for the case to be addressed.
According to local media, the students met on April 19, 2024 to carry out a second strike in the work of the UdeG and blocked the Periférico highway to demand a resolution from the authorities.

For their part, students from the University Center for Social Sciences and Humanities (CUCSH) joined this second strike and on social networks they can be seen carrying banners and raising slogans against the State.
The rector of the university center, José Francisco Muñoz Sevilla, also joined this call for the departments to quickly locate the missing 18-year-old young man.
This afternoon, Ricardo Villanueva, rector of the UdeG, joined in stopping the work of university centers for the second time, until the government can give them a response regarding the whereabouts or investigation surrounding the case of Aldo González.
Given the disappearance of Aldo, from the General Rectory we join the work stoppage, today April 19 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.

Media report that the State Prosecutor’s Office reported that so far they know that Aldo González did not go to the municipality of Tepatitlán de Morelos, as has been reported in recent days.

Continuing with the information, they said that since they received the complaint on April 13, they have been conducting interviews with people close to the young man, in order to gather information for the investigation.
