Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin had recommended MLA Udayanidhi for the Chepakkam-Thiruvallikkeni constituency to the Governor. Following the governor’s approval of this recommendation, Udhayanidhi Stalin will be sworn in as the minister on December 14.

In a press release issued by the Governor’s House in this regard, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin had recommended to the Governor to make Chennai Chepakkam-Tiruvallikeni Constituency MLA Udayanidhi as a Minister in the Tamil Nadu Cabinet. The recommendation of the Principal is approved. It has been informed that the swearing-in ceremony will be held on the 14th at Rajabhavan Durbar Hall in Guindy, Chennai at 9.30 am.

Meanwhile, a room has been allocated for Udhayanidhi Stalin, who will be sworn in as a minister in the Chief Secretariat from this morning, and maintenance work has been carried out in it. Also, many DMK ministers kept demanding that Udayanidhi be made a minister. In this case, many senior executives of the party are congratulating Udhayanidhi Stalin who will take charge as a minister.

Earlier, internal party elections were held in DMK. Udayanidhi Stalin was re-elected as the youth secretary of the party. Following this, on Udhayanidhi’s birthday, an army of administrators such as ministers, MPs and MLAs met him and congratulated him.

When reporters asked Udayanidhi whether he would be given a ministerial post at a function held on his birthday, he said that the chief minister would decide that. Meanwhile, Ministers Anbil Mahes Poiyamozhi and M. Subramanian expressed positive views about Udayanidhi.

As Udhayanidhi has got the important position, his well-wishers including the ministers thought that the next minister should also get importance. Ministers and administrators have been expressing the same views since the DMK government took charge. But then it was put to an end.

But this time, the ministers’ views came to life. There was talk in the chief secretariat circle that their idea is about to be fulfilled during Pongal and that they will take care of the Udayanidhi and Youth Welfare Department in the Cabinet. Apart from this, it is also worth recalling that there may be a change in the departments of ministers including I. Periyasamy, A. Chakrapani, Chatur Ramachandran.
