Milan dominated for more than 70 minutes and secured an important 1-0 win over Udinese at the San Siro, allowing them to stay at the top of the table.
After losing to Fiorentina before the national team break, Milan were looking for a win back against Udinese on Saturday night (19/10) and they found it in Serie A matchday 8.
It came with a 1-0 scoreline signed by Chukwueze in the 13th minute, with the goal coming through a beautiful team effort from Okafor and Pulisic to hand the Rossoneri their fourth win in their last five league games.
In the 29th minute, a direct dismissal of the Raiders upset the numerical balance and made the game a thriller, when the Friuli team found the way to the net twice but were disappointed by the same number.
In the 44th minute, Ehizibwe scored with his head but it was getting worse, and during stoppage time (90+5′) it was Kampasele’s turn to make the San Siro crowd’s heart beat, but VAR intervened and kept the 1-0 after that. Ekelekamp was exposed for a millimeter.
It is noted that Rafael Leao remained on the bench during the match and Abraham came on the bench in the 78th minute but suffered a back injury and had to be substituted five minutes later, leaving the field in tears
