Munich: Bayern Munich lose to Barcelona, leaving Barcelona out of the UEFA Champions League. Xavi and his team lost by three unanswered goals. Bayern and Benfica advanced to the knockout stages of Group E, while third-placed Barcelona will now play in the Europa League.
In another match, Manchester United were held to a draw. The Young Boys drew with United in the final match of the group at Old Trafford. United took the lead in the ninth minute through Greenwood. United then tried to increase the lead but the advances did not see enough results. Meanwhile, at the end of the first half, Fabian Reader brought the Young Boys along. The match ended in a draw but United reached the knockout stage as group winners.
Chelsea draw in the last group match. Russian club Zenit beat Chelsea by six goals. Chelsea took the lead in the second minute through Timo Werner. With the rest of the first half coming to an end, Claudino’s Zenitha came along. Zenith took the lead before the end of the first half. Sardar Azmouth was the scorer. Chelsea came close in the second half through Lukaku.
With Werner shaking the net again in the 85th minute, Chelsea looked set to win. Juventus reached the knockout stages of the group stage, including Chelsea, with a goal from Chelsea. Juventus beat Malmo 1-0 in the final match of the group. Moise Keane scored the winning goal in the 18th minute.
