| UEFA Nations League Football, Italy advance

Budapest: Italy won the UEFA Nations League football match against Hungary. Italy won the match 2-0 at the Puskas Arena in Hungary.

Italy has secured the top spot in Group 3 with 11 points from six games. Hungary was on top until the start of the game. Hungary is second with 10 points from six games. Despite having 53 percent of possession, Hungary were unable to score.

Italy took the lead in the 27th minute through Raspodori. Federico DiMarco also scored in the 52nd minute to ensure Italy’s victory. Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma’s saves also prevented Hungary’s victory. Italy entered the Nations League finals after becoming the first place.

The group match between former world champions Germany and England ended in a 3-3 draw. The match was held at the famous Wembley Stadium in London. England fought back from two goals down to equalize. In the 52nd minute, EK Gundogan scored a penalty conceded by England’s Harry Maguire. Germany scored their second goal in the 67th minute through Kai Haverst. England fought back and came back into the game. They pulled a goal back in the 71st minute through left back Luke Shaw. Mason Mount scored the equalizer in the 75th minute. Harry Kane scored a penalty in the 82nd minute to give England the lead. Germany caught up in the 87th minute. An error by Nick Pope led to Havretts scoring. England had already been relegated with only three points.
