by time news

The awards ceremony will take place on Monday 28 October at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.

Following the partnership announced Late last year, UEFA and Groupe Amaury, owners of media companies France Football and L’Équipe, agreed to co-organise the prestigious Ballon d’Or from 2024 onwards, revealing the nominees for this year’s awards.

Presented annually by France Football since 1956, the Ballon d’Or is the most illustrious award a footballer can receive in recognition of his exceptional achievements and talent.

The 2024 awards will include the Men’s Golden Ball, the Women’s Golden Ball, the Kopa Trophy (best player under 21), the Yashin Trophy (best goalkeeper), the Gerd Müller Trophy (the previous season’s top scorer), the Men’s Club of the Year Trophy and the Women’s Club of the Year Trophy. Two new trophies have been added to the awards list: Men’s Coach of the Year and Women’s Coach of the Year, recognising coaches’ invaluable contribution to success on the pitch.

The list of nominees for all award categories is available Who.

The 68th edition of the awards ceremony will take place on Monday 28 October at the grandiose Théâtre du Châtelet, located on the Place du Châtelet in Paris.
