UI Students Appreciate Rewards Ideas Regarding Improving Human Resources and Mental Health

DEPOK – University of Indonesia students ( UI ) expressed high appreciation for the presidential candidate’s idea supported by the Perindo Party, Ganjar Pranowo realizing a more advanced and prosperous Indonesia. This was revealed after Ganjar filled a National Lecture held by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) UI, Monday (18/9/2023).

One of the students, Tabina Almira, was amazed by Ganjar’s explanation. Especially related to issues mental health which he believes is very relevant for today’s young generation.

“Earlier I explained some material for a golden Indonesia, then I saw that there were several points in the highlight, namely points on health. He (Ganjar) will provide mental health facilities, which is the concern of Gen Z now,” said a FISIP UI student on the UI campus. , Depok, Monday (18/9/2023).

Tabina admitted that Ganjar presented many ideas and thoughts. But what caught his attention the most was mental health. “He presented a lot of material, just the highlight, the voice of Gen Z, regarding mental health,” he said.

A similar opinion was also expressed by a student named Farrel Alfariza. According to him, Ganjar provides positive encouragement to the younger generation to contribute to nation building. “I responded positively to the programs delivered by Mr. Ganjar as today’s figure (who gave the national lecture),” he said.

Farrell also highlighted Ganjar’s attention to the younger generation with programs aimed at improving human resources (HR). “Objectively, I am very satisfied. I am very proud of Mr. Ganjar’s presence,” he added.

In his national lecture at FISIP UI, Ganjar conveyed the importance of equal access to health, better mental health services, improvements to the medical education system, and support for the health industry. Ganjar also highlighted the importance of mental health and assistance in this field, because he felt that mental health issues were still often ignored by many parties.

Apart from that, Ganjar said that to face the demographic bonus, Indonesia needs to carry out transformation in six strategic pillars. Covering food, law enforcement, environment, energy, digital, education and skills.

According to Ganjar, one of the important steps that has been taken is increasing investment in education and training. By preparing the young workforce with relevant skills and knowledge, Indonesia can better face global challenges. Also maximizing the contribution of the demographic bonus to Indonesia’s progress.
