A shock awaited them when they finished eating and then came to pay. McDonald’s customers are allotted 90 minutes for parking. However, he was fined 100 Euros as he parked the car in violation of that. The customer Shapoor was not only shocked by this but also very dissatisfied.
He told the media that he has never seen such an expensive McDonald’s anywhere. He also said, “None of the McDonald’s locations where we dined had any notice boards stating that we were allowed to eat for up to 90 minutes. We didn’t want to rush our food. Also, we had ordered a bit too much food.”
The parking agency issued him two fixed penalty notices of around Rs 10,000 as he visited the McDonald’s restaurant on Newmarket Road twice on two different days on January 4 and January 6, 2023.
