UK sends heavy artillery to Ukraine to catch fire: Russia warns

by time news

No progress has been made in talks to end Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Russia continues to launch missile strikes, destabilizing Ukraine. In response, Ukraine asked the West to provide heavy artillery vehicles.

Accordingly, Western countries are considering providing heavy weapons to Ukraine. Britain is the first Western country to commit to supplying heavy artillery. Britain said on Saturday it would also send 14 powerful Challenger-2 cannons and advanced anti-aircraft artillery in the coming weeks. This has further enraged Russia.

Russia has accused Britain of using Ukraine as a tool to achieve its anti-Russian goals. Russia has also warned that the Challenger-2 artillery, which Britain is sending to Ukraine, would catch fire in an attack like other armored vehicles.

Dmitry Peskov, the spokesman for the Russian presidential palace, said that new weapons that could come from countries like Britain and Poland would not change the situation on the battlefield.
