Ukraine asked Elon Musk for satellite internet

Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov turned to the head of Tesla Inc. Elon Musk with a request to provide Ukraine with access to satellite Internet. The head of the Ukrainian department wrote about this on his Twitter.

In connection with what is happening in Ukraine, Fedorov asked to provide Ukraine with Starlink stations and access to satellite Internet as soon as possible.

The Starlink satellite network is designed to provide broadband Internet access in any part of the planet. SpaceX started this project in 2018.

Earlier, Mikhail Fedorov also addressed the CEO of the American corporation Apple Inc. Tim Cook, urging him to block the Apple Store for Russian citizens.
