MADRID, 11 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister, Hanna Malyar, warned on Thursday that it is possible that the Russian military authorities are lying about the alleged shortage of projectiles in the framework of the war, which began more than fourteen months ago.

As Malyar has detailed on his official Telegram channel, Russian airstrikes “have increased significantly” in recent weeks, which goes against the demonstrations of senior Russian Army commanders about ammunition shortages.

According to the Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister, the Russian Armed Forces have intensified their offensive against the towns of Liman and Bakhmut, a city coveted by Moscow and which has been the main scene of clashes on the Donetsk front in recent weeks.

With these statements, Malyar has responded to the statements made by the head of the Wagner Group, Yevgeni Prigozhin, who stated last week that he would withdraw his troops from Bakhmut due to the shortage of ammunition supplied by the Russian Defense Ministry.

“Any information of a military nature during the war is a weapon. It is used to fight, not to inform. The enemy is simply deceiving us for their military purposes,” the Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister has settled.
