Singer Alina Pash, the elected representative of Ukraine, has been accused by the Ukrainian website Peacemaker of crossing the border towards Russia illegally. Following her trip there, she was added to the list of “supporters of Russia”. After the storm, her representatives claimed that her visit there was legal and received official permission to cross the border, but it was later revealed that the document was forged. Pash eventually announced on her Instagram that she was retiring from the competition.
