The Ukrainian military says it has shot down two Russian patrol vessels in the Black Sea.
Russia’s war on Ukraine continues for 2 months. In this the main cities of Ukraine have been annihilated. Thousands have died. Millions have taken refuge in neighboring countries. Nevertheless, Russia’s goal of subjugating Ukraine has not yet been achieved.
On the contrary, like Ukraine, Russia has suffered heavy casualties in this war. The Ukrainian military says it has hit and sunk Russia’s Moscow warship with modern missiles, leading a maritime offensive from the Black Sea over the past two weeks.
Russia, however, denied the allegations, saying the warship caught fire and sank. The Russian military says one sailor was killed and more than 20 were injured in what became known as the Cold War. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
The Ukrainian military says two Russian patrol vessels were hit and destroyed by a drone in the Black Sea yesterday. This was stated by the Commander of the Ukrainian Army Valery Zalushny
“Two Ukrainian soldiers attacked and destroyed two Russian Raptor patrol vessels in the Black Sea near the island of Smyrna this morning,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military has released a video of Russian ships being attacked and destroyed by drones in the Black Sea. Russia has not commented, however.
