Russia has said it will regard the delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine as a “nuclear” threat. Moscow’s head of diplomacy, Sergei Lavrov, argued that this was due to the fighters’ ability to carry atomic weapons.

How are the F-16 fighters
The F-16 to be sent to Ukraine is a supersonic fighter used by militaries in 25 countries for air-to-air combat and air-to-ground strikes, with the capability to carry nuclear weapons. The aircraft has both offensive and defensive capabilities.
