by time news
India has voted against Russia for the first time on the Ukraine issue in the United Nations Security Council.

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine on February 24 and launched a military operation. This sudden military attack by Russia continues unabated even after six months. This war has shaken not only that region but the entire European continent.

Countries including Europe and the United States have taken an anti-Russian stance on this issue. While China has taken a pro-Russian stance, India has declared neutrality rather than individual support for both countries on the issue.

After this war, various resolutions against Russia were brought in the UN Assembly, but India continued to abstain from voting against Russia in these resolutions. In this case, India has voted against Russia for the first time in the UN Security Council yesterday on the issue of Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been invited to address the UN Security Council meeting through video teleconference.
