For the first time since Russia launched a war with Ukraine, Syria has been involved in airstrikes with the country.
Syria’s Defense Ministry has issued an official statement in this regard. Accordingly, the Russian and Syrian air forces are reportedly engaged in a joint air strike exercise.
The Syrian government says this is the first time the Russian air force has joined Syria in conducting airstrikes since Russia’s war on Ukraine began.
Russia’s SU-24M ‘,’ SU-34M ‘,’ SU-35S ‘aircraft and Syria’ ‘MIG-23ML’ and ‘MIG’ Syria’s defense ministry says it has conducted training on wartime offensive and defensive operations in conjunction with -29 ‘aircraft.
Recently, Israeli missiles targeted Syrian military bases in the southern part of the city of Damascus. Following this, the release of information about this joint exercise between Syria and Russia is seen as significant.
A video of fighter jets taking part in the exercise has also been officially released. During this training, the pilots of both countries have successfully completed the complex targets.
That is, all complex and slippery targets are reported to have been tracked and destroyed.
