MOSCOW: Ukraine’s offensive inside Russia’s border as Russia’s offensive in Ukraine continues. According to international media reports, the Ukrainian missile strike took place in the Russian territory of Belgorod, which borders Ukraine. Footage of this has also come out.

The attack was reported on Tuesday night. The Daily Mail reported that the missile strike was aimed at a Russian military base in Belgorod. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a crowd of about 20 km from the Russian-Ukrainian border.

The New York Post quoted Belgorod Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov as saying that there was no casualty in the attack. Some Russian news agency Tass reports that four Russian soldiers were injured. The agency said Ukraine had previously carried out attacks in the area.

Some media outlets reported, citing some Russian journalists, that Ukraine had used the OTR-21 Tokka-U ballistic missile. However, Ukraine has not yet officially confirmed that it has launched a missile attack on Russia. In February, Ukraine reportedly attacked the Millerov air base in Russia.

Russia has announced that it will reduce its number of attacks on major Ukrainian cities. This followed talks between representatives of the two countries in Istanbul. However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selensky responded that Russia’s announcement was not innocent.
